Gabriel has always loved music from an early age. He began playing classical guitar at the age of 14 and continued his education by learning harmony, counterpoint, composition, piano, and eventually became a church organist for over a decade. His musical influences include J.S. Bach, Handel, Scarlatti Debussy, Barrios and many more. Gabriel's favorite thing about music is its way of changing the way people think without words, and his favorite thing about teaching music is sharing this joy with others. When taking lessons with Gabriel you can expect him to share with you the great musical heritage that has been handed down by the masters. What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
An understanding of the way music is structured. How to put fitting chords to a melody. How to have two or three different melodies singing at the same time without undue dissonances.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

For the most part, I will just be teaching you how to practice efficiently so that you know what you should be working on. Guidance in musicality: All that they could ever learn in a University will be made accessible and comprehensible to them without having to enroll in a big university.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

To learn how to sing notes off the music score without having previously heard the notes.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
A thorough understanding of what they can profit from, without imposing my tastes on them. Yet nonetheless opening up their minds to many aspects of music they will need, if they wish to go far in music. But I don't think that students will advance unless they really love what they do. So I will definitely want to work with that.
