About Me
Nicholas started playing guitar when he was 10 years old after being inspired by the video game “Guitar Hero”. Now 23, he has been playing for 13 years. At the age of 13, he taught himself how to play the drums, and has played drums in many bands. He also sings and learned to play the Piano at age 16. Nicholas began teaching guitar when he was 20 years old from an HOA advertisement, and has proficiently educated students. Several of these students have told him that he taught them better than various music stores. Nicholas is very good at walking students through the process of learning guitar or drums, making it easier to understand. His morale-boosting “no pressure” approach to teaching will encourage and empower students to improve. One student has told Nicholas that he had taken lessons from many people, but a “light bulb went off in his head” after their first lesson together! Nicholas studied music at Frederick Community College and obtained an A.A. degree in music. He is now working towards a B.S. degree in music at Towson University. Nicholas has a very complicated understanding of Music theory, and also composes. You can expect to be able to learn guitar, drums, or composition/songwriting processes with Nicholas!
