Hi. My name is Britt. I'm professional actor and a musician and songwriter. I've been playing guitar for 15 years and writing songs for 10 years. As an actor, I've performed on stage with my guitar and arranged music for many of the productions I've been in. I'm very eager to pass on the things I've learned!

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students will learn how to write evocative lyrics and how to develop both lyrical and musical ideas within their pieces. They will also learn how to rhythmically preserve the natural shape of the language in their lyrics and practice writing words that lay effortlessly over their melodies. Most importantly, my hope is that students will begin finding their own unique voice through consistent exploration.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I don’t want to just teach my students songs or chords. I want my students to be able to understand the function of the musical elements within song in order to become more proficient musicians. I want to encourage curiosity and creativity, that’s how musicianship is cultivated.
