Hi, my name is Natalie and I am an Alto from Grapevine. I have been a student of music for over 13 years. My musical influences include Bob Dylan, Springsteen, Dean Martin, and Sam Cooke. I also enjoy Opera. My teaching style can best be described as logical, eclectic and adaptable. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that if you feel it, sing it! In my lessons, you can expect to learn technique to keep your voice safe, alongside figuring out which singing styles you feel most confident with. I like to tell my students that nearly any voice can be made known as long as the passion is fueling it Eddie Money, Dylan.... Even unique voices have a place. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing my passion. My favorite performance was singing 'Fever' acapella my first ever solo in front of hundreds of people. My students love that I am personable and unique. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach trumpet. My approach as a teacher is to explore vocal possibilities and to have fun while doing so.
