Colin was a passionate and talented singer from an early age. He formally started his education at Revere Highschool with Deborah Devoure in Symphonic Choir and received the highest score in the statewide solo competition. Around this time he started finding a strong passion for instrumentation as well, using guitar as his entry point into many other instruments and music theory. Colin continued taking classes at Kent State University for music and received an Associates and Bachelors in Applied Conflict Managment. Colin continued his formal work in the music industry by interning and working at a music venue in Kent, OH and running a production & entertainment company that puts on concerts and helps manage artists. He has worked with and founded a few different musical groups around the area. His musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Michael Landau, Greg Howe, Derek Trucks, Miles Davis, the Allman Brothers, and Snarky Puppy just to name a few. Colin’s favorite thing about music is the fact that any type of person can find a way to make their own music and tap into a creative and specific format. His favorite thing about teaching is getting students to enjoy finding new ways of learning to play and further enhance the appreciation of the craft.
