I have been playing guitar for over forty years, thirty five of that professionally. I have a couple of guitar students at present but I am looking for more full time teaching as I am currently self employed. I teach what my students want not the things they don't as they seem to get bored with scales and such. I'll take a favorite song and break it down to where they scan learn chords and lead lines or improvise. I am a composer and songwriter using computer generated music and incorporate this into the lessons. I also use the silent reherrsal system in my lessons as not to disturb everyone around us. (no ampifiers). My students hear better and learn faster.
