6 Years
I became serious about learning to be a musician at 12 years old. Since then I haven't put down the guitar. My passion for music is that everyone involved can have a voice of their own. When teaching I do my best to help each student become more aware of how they connect with music, and what doors that can open for them creatively. My hope is for each student to develop a deep understanding of how to play the music that inspires them; as well as learn what makes music, each instrument, and each song unique. Reach out anytime and let me know what you'd like to learn!
Jordan H. has over 6 years of music experience in the Kennesaw area.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
There are many elements at work in songwriting. Each lesson will expand as the student and I begin to get a better understanding of how each other is naturally able to communicate and express. Lessons may include studying other songs, writing exercises, reviewing and encouraging a students work, and finding opportunities for the student to write alone and in a group/co-write setting.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Each lesson will be intended as a step towards a previously discussed goal. Whether that be learning a specific song, genre of music, band's repertoire, or music theory, the time spent at lessons will be about developing new techniques, understanding, and musical abilities. Music is much like a web, so practicing toward any single goal will likely include lessons in how music theory, technique, and style work together.
