Nicholas Le

I graduated from Massapequa High School in 2007. I studied classical guitar at CW Post and Nassau Community College. I also studied at Hunter College which is where I plan on getting my bachelor's degree, but I am currently taking time off to look for work in the city.

I studied guitar under Mike Flyntz at Guitar Masters in Copiague for well over 10 years, we studied all genres of music including classical.

I have played in bands for the last eight years. I've toured the east coast multiple times, playing down to Florida and back several times since I was 18 with my band Exemption. We've opened for national acts such as The Misfits and LA Guns. We've played throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, Upstate NY, Queens, and also NJ, PA, MD, DE, Boston, Philadelphia, NC, and Florida. I also play bass in NYC-based band Thinning the Herd and guitar in Long Island's Rice Cultivation Society. I have literally played hundreds of shows and I enjoy helping students get their bands off the ground.

I have been teaching guitar since 2007. I've taught at South Shore Music in Massapequa, NY from '07-'10, and under the same owner at Mark Edwards Lessons also in Massapequa from '10-Present. I've also taught at Guitar Masters in Copiague, NY from '09-Present, as well as dozens of private lessons since '07. I studied classical guitar at CW Post and Nassau Community College, and I took lessons for over ten years under Mike Flyntz at Guitar Masters. I have taught students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience and I really, truly love doing it. I can teach students to read notation if they want to, or just whatever songs/style they are into. I make each lesson plan unique to the student and I am well versed in different styles of music as well as music theory.
