It is a great pleasure to be working with you. I have always displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility, and ambition. As a current graduate student of music education at UNCG, and an alumni of FSU, I am ready to help all of your students accomplish excellent music training. I have experience in teaching Elementary music through the Cumberland County school system. I enjoy working with children and striving them to be their absolute best. I am also a current member of Cumberland Oratorio Singers. I also volunteered in singing a portion of the historical “Hamilton” play at the Cumberland County Public Library/Information Center. During my undergrad, I was a member of the FSU’s University Concert Choir, University Chamber Singers, FSU Opera Workshop, and FSU Women’s Ensemble entitled “Mane Attraction”. In addition to my scholastic accomplishments, I often represented the vocal section of the Performing and Fine Arts in numerous ways and did them with excellence and fortitude. I believe music is a language that is understood by everyone and it is a way of communicating when one can communicate no other way.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students will learn different genre's of music. Students will learn differences between hook and verses. Students will explore different varieties of music written from medieval, to classical to modern. Whether it is Rap, R &B, Gospel, or pop, students will gain an appreciation of all kinds of music.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students will gain more information about singing; where it comes from. Students will learn how to articulate different languages. Student's will also learn hand symbols to help with singing solfege using Kodaly's method. Student's will learn what voice range they are and will present recital's for their audience if any. Students will become comfortable in their voice.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students should expect a very fun and exciting time in learning to create music and learning how other musician's created theirs. Students will learn fingering curving and wrist placement. Students will also be introduced to learning scales, chords, arpeggios. Students will learn the basis to which leads them to their own impressionism and compositions for the future.
