Hi, my name is Matthew and I am a vocalist from all over, primarily California and Michigan. I have been a student of music for 7 years, starting in my high school band and now studying music education at San Diego State University. My musical influences span across many genres. From classical to metal, I’ve studied how to become a successful vocalist. My teaching style can best be described as understanding and patient, but also tenacious. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I truly believe anybody is a musician. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper singing techniques that will ease the voice and make singing a more enjoyable experience. I like to tell my students to never give up, no matter how hard it might seem at the time. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the progress in my students as they find their style and voice. My students love that I work with them every step of the way. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach keys and songwriting techniques. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
