Hello! My name is Mitchell and I am a professional singer/entertainer. I currently sing as lead tenor with the internationally renowned a cappella group, Rockapella, from the hit PBS show, "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego". I also work as a host for the Monster Jam monster truck events, where I'm responsible for calling action live on the microphone for stadiums full of people! I have previously worked professionally as a singer on cruise ships, at jazz clubs, for wedding/corporate bands, and at theme parks, so I feel I have a unique and very well-rounded background! When it comes to musical influences, I love Michael Bublé, Michael Jackson, Magic!, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Straight No Chaser, and Elevation Worship, among many others. My teaching style can best be described as interactive! Most teachers will focus solely on singing technique and the basics, whereas I plan to go above and beyond that by teaching stage presence, working with a microphone, breathing and stamina on stage, playing to an audience, audition techniques and tips, and much more! My goal would be for my students not just to learn to improve their singing ability, but learn how to apply their skills in a real-world setting. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students realize their abilities, and learn how they can achieve their dreams and career aspirations. As a teacher, I feel it is my job to bring out the best in my students, and to open their eyes to skills and abilities they may not have even known they had! Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
