Erika has always loved music from a young age. She began playing clarinet at the age of 10 and continued her education by attending Baldwin Wallace University, receiving her Bachelor's degree in Music Performance. She further continued her education at Carnegie Mellon University and received her Master's degree in Music Performance. Erika's favorite thing about music is the powerful emotions it can express and her favorite thing about teaching music is seeing the student grow musically. She truly enjoys seeing a student's hard work pay off in an audition or solo performance.
