Students will being the class by learning the structure of a song such as ( Bridge, Chorus, Verse, etc) allowing them to gain an understanding of the purpose for each part of a song. Students will also dig into poetry giving them a deeper understanding of lyricism and how to write songs. If the student plays an instrument they will learn how to put music to their lyrics allowing their musical creativity to come full circle creating a new work of art. student will also be allowed to write music in the musical styling and genre of their choosing. Students are also encouraged to carry a journal/notebook where they can carry their works and ideas.

Beginners should expect to being learning finger numbers and letter scales eventually learning to play entry level music using entry level chord progressions Intermediate students should expect to learn to play in different keys using more challenging chord progressions as well as learning to play more songs within a genre of their choosing.

Students will learn proper sing techniques allowing them to use their voice in a heathy manner. Students will also learn a wide verity of genres in order to stretch them vocally and make them a more well rounded singer. Students will be allowed to choose songs or genres they would like to learn or need help in as well. Each student will also learn performance techniques, such as stage presence, lyric memorization and voice projection.
