Beginner musicians will find my introduction lessons to guitar to be incredibly fun and easy to approach. I remember what it was like to look at a guitar and have no idea even where to start, and because I started off being self-taught I also know how to translate guitar to someone without any musical experience. Advanced musicians will find my lessons to be even more intriguing, I play multiple genres and multiple instruments and try to show students how those other sources can influence how you approach the guitar.

My beginner bass students will find my lessons to be exploratory as well and engrossing. I played bass in several types of bands from punk rock to reggae, and I want first time students to know how versatile those four strings can be. My advanced students would find my lessons to be more complex and structured. Once you've got a fair understanding of what a bass CAN do, you next need to learn what a bass DOES do in the context of a band. Their lessons would be focused on timing and rhythm.

Having recorded several albums, written numerous songs and lyrics, as well as writing for multiple genres, I know first hand what it takes to write music that is not only listenable but also structured properly. My students would learn how songs are put together from deciding instrumentation to writing lyrics. I believe that everyone has a song in them, even people who are not musicians, and sometimes people need help getting that song out.
