3 Years
Hi, my name is Ron and I am a professional guitar player/uke player/singer/songwriter and sound engineer from Gettysburg, PA. I have been a student of music for 33 years. I've been a guitarist and vocalist in several working bands, and have played solo acoustic gigs throughout the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the New Jersey shore and the greater Gettysburg area. My musical influences include rock, pop, blues, old country, rockabilly, instrumental pieces and classical. My teaching style can best be described as "fun." My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying a bored mind is not an absorbent mind, while an engaged mind is a sponge. In my lessons, you can expect to learn music theory, chords and scales--and to keep it exciting--your favorite songs. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the progress of my students. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
Ronald N. has over 3 years of music experience in the Fairfield area.
Ronald N. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Song Writing Lessons, Record Engineer Produce .What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
I teach the basics of recording on computer based systems up to and including the use of panning to create excitement and separation in the mix, reverb, delay, pitch shifting and eq for bigger, fatter sounds, and using compression to pull it all together.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
I teach different paths to creativity, lyrically and musically, as well as proven songwriting techniques. I also try to unlock the students ability to create melody and write meaningful lyrics.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
I teach vocal technique important to vocal health while providing tools the student can use to improve between lessons. I also teach throat whistling, also known as polyphonic singing, for those interested.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
My students can expect to be challenged and inspired. I teach a combination of theory and technique, and the more popular chords, scales and songs. I've found a balance of the two keeps things interesting and the theory builds the foundation for greater creativity.
