Hi, my name is Savannah and I am a singer/songwriter from Social Circle. I have been a student of music for ten years. My musical influences include classic rock, psychedelic rock, indie, and alternative music, but I also enjoy all other genres. My teaching style can best be described as intuitive because I don't believe in changing my students' style or taking away their individuality. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I help my students develop their own vocal style because there is no "right way" to express yourself through music. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to expand your vocal range, add emotion and inflection to your songs, learn the proper warm ups and warm downs to keep your voice healthy, and have fun while you do it. I like to tell my students to prioritize emotion and self-expression over classical vocal training. My favorite thing about teaching is helping students pursue and develop their passion.
