Hello, my name is Joel. I am a senior at Florida Gulf Coast University. I am from Sarasota, Florida. I have been surrounded by music from a young age. I began playing piano at age 12 and have been playing ever since. Singing in my church was always special to me so I continued to sing along with my learning in piano. My church gave me the platform and since then I have been playing at my church and singing. Music is the joy to the soul and it is my goal and mission to deliver that message each moment I am able to perform on a stage. At age 16, a new journey started and that was song writing. Since then I have recorded and produced 2 records so far that are on Spotify and ITunes while being in college. One with a jazz group and my first singing RnB project. I believe that once a task has just begun, never leave it until it’s done. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all. I believe you have the gift of music and I want to help bring your gift to life!

Song writing is a process and different ways to approach. I will show different angles of writing and critique which angles works best and write great songs and possibly do studio work and listen back to share with friends and family.
