Hi, my name is Anthony. Presently, I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I started playing the piano at age 6. Then continued my Pianoforte studies through Trinity College of Music, London. I read and play music and was considered to be "the boy with the golden fingers" by my former tutors. At age 13, I started to play the guitar. I have a freestyle for the guitar and a strong classical platform for the piano, even though I love playing contemporary music with a heavy classical form. I have been an official church organist for 33 years in Trinidad and New York. I am a retired teacher of English after 35 years. I have also trained choirs and have been a recipient of the Cacique Award, The Trinidadian version of the Oscar awards for original music in theater in 1995. Teaching has been my life and still is. Teaching is reaching the souls and minds of the learner. It is an art of collaboration which affords the learner to reach full potential while feeling a sense of self-worth.
