Hana began playing 6 at the age of 21. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending Southern Methodist University as a violin performance major. She gained performance experience in the North Carolina area by playing at such venues as Concertmaster at Fayetteville International Orchestra and with acts such as Freelance violinist at YeGreen Inc. She also taught as anassistant orchestra director at Alpha Academy and Cape Fear Christian Academy. Though Hana can teach mmanygenres of music, her musical personal favorites are Classical Music and Fiddle/Improv which had great influence on her style of playing. Hana loves teaching music because she loves to not just teach but make personal connection between teacher and student. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I have played at the church band for past 10 years, which I would say I will be able to develop your improvisation skill into the perfect level. If you are looking for someone who could help with you to play at church, I will be your best match! Also, I have taught so many students in any age level, and I've made really good friendship with all of my students. I am not just a music teacher, but I will be your best friend who could make you feel very comfortable! However, I will push very hard on you because I'm a "Tiger Asian" teacher ;

Private Education:
I have studied with Kevin Lawrence of UNC School of the Art for 2 years, Fabian Lopez of UNCG for 4 years, Emanuel Borok of Dallas Symphony Orchestra for one year, and currently studying with Aaron Boyd of Esher Quartet.
Performing Experience:
I have a lot of orchestra experiences from age 10. Also I also have played at church gigs for past 10 years. I can do improv very well and I would love to teach that to my student. I also fiddle as a hobby, and make covers of songs.
Experience Teaching:
I taught as a assistant orchestra director for 2 years. Also, I taught at many different Music Academy for past 5 years. I have a lot of teaching experience at certain places, and I have taught about 30 different students in different age. I can get along with people of all ages! I also have lots of experience of teaching lovely kids with disabilities, and I had no issue with teaching them! They were just beautiful and sweet kids like any other kids. I am looking forward to meet all of my unique and talented students!
