Hi, my name is Carlos, and I am a music teacher from Richmond, Virginia. I have been a student of music for over ten years. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I strive for excellence from my students and that they give their all to learn. I like to tell my students always practice hard and keep practicing. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to teach new concepts of music and having my students learn and improve. I primarily teach acoustic and electric guitar, but I can also teach music theory. My approach as a teacher is for my students to not only learn their instrument, but that they enjoy what they learn.
