Nathan Da-

Nathan, a young tenor, is a native of Palm Harbor, Floria. He has always been a huge fan of vocal music ever since  he was a young child. Now he is living his own dream of pursuing a career in operatic music.

Some of his performance credits include Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods, Francis Nurse in The Crucible, Doody in Grease, Hugo in Present Laughter, The Ugly Duckling in Honk! The Ugly Duckling Musical, and even as Marryin’ Sam in Li’l  Abner.He has also done recital work of his own with the Showcase Arts Foundation. Nathan also served as the musical director for the Showcase Arts Foundation, where he directed the music to “Bye, Bye, Birdie!” and ran a summer musical theatre voice class in 2009. Upon finishing the summer voice class, he went on to direct “The Last Five Years” with the West Coast Players, alongside director Lil Barcaski.

His true passion is for operatic singing. In 2008, he won the prestigious T.N. Retif voice competition, where he was awarded the first place $103,000 prize for a full scholarship to Brewton-Parker College, to study voice under renowned soprano, Dr. Kandie Smith. During his time at Brewton-Parker College in fall of 2009, he went on tour in “Amahl and the Night Visitors” as King Kaspar, to add his first tour to his already large resume.

Nathan is the recipient of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Scholarship, Palm Beach Atlantic Scholarship, T.N. Retif Voice Scholarship, amongst prestigious others. He currently resides in Palm Harbor, FL.
