Hi, my name is Kristen, and I am a voice instructor from New York City. I have been a student of music for 13 years and am an aspiring Systematic Musicologist. My particular interests are in vocal pedagogy as well as performance and the mind. I am a graduate of Rollins College in Orlando Florida where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a focus in Vocal Performance, and I am classically trained with experience in performing Musical Theater and popular music. My passion lies in finding unique qualities of my students such as their interests, cultural background and personalities to create the ultimate musical experience while also promoting vocal health. I am looking forward to singing with you!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I will begin every lesson with warm ups to get the voice moving before approaching any repertoire. The amount of time spent warming up will depend on the student's level of experience to keep the focus on vocal health. Once the student is warmed up we will head into repertoire. I will ask if they have any occasions or upcoming performances they would like to work on first and if they are completely new to voice lessons we will spend some time going through my books to select songs for lessons.
