Jason began playing drums at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending Univ. of N. Texas. He gained performance experience in the Austin area and on the road by playing at such venues as Elephant Room, One2One Bar, David Letterman and with acts such as Billy Joe Shaver, Atash, Matt Nathanson, Jeff Lofton. Though Jason can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classic rock, jazz, and fusion which had great influence on his style of playing. Jason loves music because is touches people of all walks of life & across cultures and loves teaching music because it is a gift. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Jason can help you expand and enhance your playing. Jason is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
