The cirriculum for bass guitar lessons can be tailor-made to your interests! If you\'d like to study jazz, we\'ll study jazz! If you wanna rock out, we\'ll rock out! If you have a favorite pop tune, we\'ll explore how bass functions in that pop tune! In fact, functionality of the bass in terms of groove, bass-lines, and interaction with other instruments will be a key part of these lessons!

My piano lessons will be more focused on music theory principles and how to build chords than it would on proficient piano technique. While I will show you the basics of piano technique, these lessons will be more of a jumping-off point for you to explore the music you like and have a more thorough understanding of melody and harmony.

Orchestral lessons will be more tailored towards those students who would like to learn upright bass. Upright bass is my forte and I love the instrument with a passion! Expect to explore some classical repertoire including Bach cello sonatas and Mahler orchestral excerpts! Students may also be introduced to Simandl bass method and may be asked to purchase the book. However, students can expect to be given enough to work with! We may also explore some fundamentals of pizzicato or "plucking" and some jazz concepts as this is my other passion and I think it could be yours too! Expect to have fun and to learn a lot!
