Marscia began playing violin and viola at the age of 10. Over the years, she developed her skills further by being a part of her youth symphony program from 2. She later went on to win the notorious Richard R. Deas concerto competition hosted by the university of north carolina Wilmington in 2011. She gained performance experience in the Wilmington area by playing at such venues as Kenan auditorium and the Wilson center in Downtown wilmington. Marscia has been a part of the wilmington Symphony orchestra since 2012 and the Tallis chamber orchestra since 2011. Though Marscia can teach many different genres of music, her expertise lies in classical repertoire which has great influence on her style of playing. Marscia loves music because it provides an auditory form of self expression that can heal and loves teaching because spreading the ability to make music is her passion. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
expect to be challenged and advance your skills within 2-3 months of steady lessons and practice. Lessons are done in person or online with various theory assignments given to further your knowledge not just of your instrument but all musical concepts as a whole.
