Kayla began playing the cello at the age of twelve and is currently studying in the College of Music at the University of North Texas. Over the years, she developed her skills further by participating in several orchestras that toured throughout the United States and internationally. Though Kayla can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical, which had great influence on her style of playing.Kayla loves music because it is a great medium to communicate through and loves teaching music because of the profound joy that comes with music making.
