Hi, my name is Brendon, and I am a Musician from Tampa. I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include classical and I also enjoy folk/alternative. My teaching style can best be described as hands on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I help people to achieve their full potential. In my lessons, you can expect to start with the foundations that will give you a solid springboard into the advanced topics of the instrument. I like to tell my students they are capable of anything they set their minds to. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the growth of my students. It's humbling that I can have such an effect on people's lives. My favorite performance was high school year violin where I was awarded the most outstanding violinist trophy for my school. My students love that I teach them at their pace but also nudge them farther at the proper times. I primarily teach classical guitar and violin, but I can also teach other forms of guitar like rock, blues and acoustic. My approach as a teacher is to give them the best advice in timed intervals to have them make adjustments to their playing habits. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!

I teach out of books mainly and then after you have gotten to a relatively proficient level then we move on to some individual songs that you would like to learn. You can expect a great progression curve to the upper levels of playing. If you put in the work then you will see amazing results with my help, however if you don't practice you will hold yourself back.

Brendon is a great teacher! My boys ages 11 and 16 started piano for the first time a year ago, and it is AMAZING how much they have learned taking lessons from him. He is very calm and patient. My kids really like him. All lessons are scheduled via an app which allows for text or email lesson reminders and easy payment. Bonus-he came to our home for lessons.
