Chipper V.

Hi, my name is Chipper, and I am a guitarist from Arkansas. I have been a student of music for twelve years. My musical influences include many jazz artists and I also enjoy gospel and indie rock. My teaching style can best be described as an in-depth approach to fretboard organization and application. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I start with organization, and turn that into emotion. In my lessons, you can expect to learn scales, an expansive chord bank, and diverse application of knowledge. I like to tell my students that if they know how to count to four, and they know their alphabet through the letter G, they can learn music. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students perform on their own. My favorite performance was my senior recital in college. My students love that I’m easy to connect with, and I love a good joke. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach beginner piano, intermediate drums and bass, and audio engineering.
