Hi, my name is Ashley! I play the piano/keyboard, ukulele, guitar, accordion, and I sing! I write original music and have been doing so for years. I've been singing all my life, and picked up the piano around the age of twelve. I'm 20 years old, and majoring in music at OCCC. I love kids and am very good with them, with the capability of providing them with a safe and comfortable space to learn about themselves and develop new skills comfortably at their own pace.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
A fun and comfortable learning environment. A focus on learning and applying the basics of piano/keyboard playing, but with a fun, contemporary twist. I would love to hear about my students' personal music taste and plan accordingly based on that. If you like contemporary music, I can work with that! If you like mid 2000's rock, I can work with that! If you like gospel or classical, I can work with that, too.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
A fun and comfortable learning environment. I have been writing original songs since I was about 14, and I've found it's a very good way to relieve stress. A wonderful emotional outlet, it's a type of therapy all on its own. I would love to help people with writing lyrics, coming up with instrumentals, as well as melodies and harmonies. My own approach to song writing is one focused primarily on acoustic/indie music, but I do have the capability to sit down and work out/break down songs in other genres.
Formal Education:
High School Equivalency, currently in the progress of 2 year college.
Performing Experience:
I've been performing since I was about 9 years old. I've performed in talent shows, and released original music.
