Hi, my name is Adam and I am a Music Performance Major from Texas State University. I have been a student of music for over 8 years. My musical influences include many experimental composers of the 20th century and I also enjoy folk and classic rock. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that your goals are my goals. I want to see you succeed in a new skill and my job is to start your journey down that path. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic to intermediate technique, the value of musicianship, and some aural and theory skills when applicable. My favorite thing about teaching is watching others grow, not only from the knowledge I provide, but from their individual discoveries in music. My students love that I give them room to experiment and pursue their own interests. I primarily teach double bass, but I can also teach guitar and piano. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
