Hi, my name is Celia! I'm a Cuban musician. I began the path of music since a very early age with the piano which has always been part of the training, but my years of education was as bassoonist and later on as bass guitar player. I bring to my teaching the unique experiences of the many live jazz perfomances I've been part of as bassist of the afro-Cuban jazz group, Juno Award Winning 2015 and Grammy Nominated 2018 Jane Bunnett & Maqueque. I like to see students succeed, which is why I look foward to knowing you and learn about your specific goals and interests. See you soon!

What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Students can expect to learn for example, the basics of the instrument such as the names of the keys, how are they distributed over the keyboard, where are they located on the 5 lines and 4 spaces staff. But also how to read and play music one and both hands, scales, chords, the meaning of differnt terminoligies and what they mean on the music sheet...just to name a few.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
Students can expect to learn the name of the strings, exercises to develop the ability in both hands, scales, chords al over the neck of the instrument. How to read music on but not limited the bass clef and popular music writing. Also, an approach to Latin rhythms and much more.
