Hi, thank you for checking out my profile! My name is Eva and I have been playing the clarinet for 10 years. I myself have had private lessons all 10 years and I truly believe private lessons not only improve a child's skill but also the enjoyment of the instrument. I have gone to music camps every summer for the past 4 years and attended Interlochen Arts Academy, a boarding school focused on arts, where I majored in clarinet performance. I also spent a year at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins studying clarinet under world renowned clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein before I transferred to Howard Community College.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
- Intermediate - Advanced
Every week, my students will be assigned a scale and arpeggio from the Bearmann Foundation Studies. My advanced students will be assigned scales in thirds and fourths in addition to the scales and arpeggios. They will be assigned a Rose etude from either the 32 or 40 studies based on skill level. They will also be assigned a duet from the Rubank Advanced Method as well as a short fingering exercise and a short ornament study.
Formal Education:
Two years attending Interlochen Center for the Arts summer camp and one year attending the Interlochen boarding school to focus on improving my skills. One year studying clarinet performance at Peabody Institute in Baltimore.
Private Education:
Six years of private instruction under Cindy Stevenson, one year instruction under Bill Welty, one year instruction under Emil Khudyev, and one year instruction under Alexander Fiterstein.
Performing Experience:
Two years performing with the Maryland All State band and one year performing with the Maryland All State orchestra. I have also performed with the World Youth Wind Symphony and World Youth Symphony Orchestra at Interlochen Center for the Arts summer camp.
Experience Teaching:
One year teaching Elementary students.
