6 Years
Hello, my name is Jacob. I am a student at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, but I spend my summers in Macon performing. I briefly was a Music Education major at GCSU, allowing me to better understand how to teach, before changing to a Vocal Performance major. I believe the best way to teach singing is to sing in as many places as possible with as many teachers as possible. In my studio, expect to learn quickly!
Jacob M. has over 6 years of music experience in the Marietta area.
Jacob M. is proficient in and teaches Vocal Lessons .Degree and Field of Study:

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Although my training background is in a more classical style of vocal music, through my own performance choices I've learned extensively about the production of an excellent musical theatre sound. In my lessons, expect to learn the basics of a classical sound and then quickly branching out into the style you want to learn!
Formal Education:
2 years of professional voice lessons alongside lessons in teaching music from a brief stint into music education. 10 years of involvement in exemplary choirs around middle Georgia.
Performing Experience:
I've performed with many different groups over the years. Most notably is the Max Noah Singers, the GCSU auditioned mixed vocal ensemble. In May of this year, we traveled to New York City to sing in Carnegie Hall. As for musical theatre, I've been involved in multiple productions over the last few years. My most notable roles have been Herr Schultz in Georgia College's recent production of Cabaret and Harry Houdini in Macon Little Theatre's production of Ragtime. I've also recently been invited to perform as a part of Georgia College's Voice Honors Recital.
Experience Teaching:
I've spent two years in general education classes at Georgia College, one of the most renowned schools for education in the Southeast, as well as the beginning classes of the music education degree.
