What to expect in my Drum Lessons
In my bass lessons I’ll be teaching the notes on the fret board to get the student knowing the basic notes. I’ll be teaching them scales, I’ll be introducing them to some awesome bass lines from some of there favorite songs. Introducing them to the bass style of the genre they prefer. I want to lead the student in the direction they want to go.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
My lesson plan is to adapt to what the student is interested in learning. Based on my preference, learning all the basic open guitar chords is step one. We will practice transitioning chords as well as strumming patterns. The next step can be learning scales, or learning to read tabs, or learning some songs, etc. Once I’m able to meet with the student and I’m able to talk to them to see what direction they want to go, then I’ll know where to lead you. The reason I do it this way is to keep the students interests as my priority.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
My lesson plan for drum lessons is to teach some basic drum rolls and get them comfortable holding drum sticks. Start teaching them the timing and counting process important when drumming. I will introduce simple beginner beats getting the student a bit more comfortable behind a drum set. I’ll introduce different drumming styles covered in different genres. As the lessons go on the material will get tougher and tougher.
Formal Education:
I am very close to obtaining my Associates Degree in Kinesiology at Taft College.
Performing Experience:
I’ve played 500 live shows give or take. Most shows I’ve played drums, however I have also played bass and guitar for live shows. I’ve played with country artists, I’ve played for touring pop artists, as well as rock bands.
