Hello! I love music. Creating art that can speak so much to ourselves and others is such a beautiful thing! It's so achievable too, through practice, confidence and love. I've played electric and string bass in a number of award-winning jazz ensembles at the secondary and collegiate level. I also play guitar and keyboards and released an album of original music in 2013. I have a M. Ed in Secondary Ed. Social Studies and enjoy getting to know and learning with my students more than anything! Music is such a liberating form that allows us to share and grow our voice while stimulating our creative mind and produce true works of art! Looking forward to learning with you and sharing what I know! As a rhythm section player, I have a strong understanding of chords, rhythm, composition and general music theory and am very confident at teaching such content in an intuitive way that allows students to grow and challenge themselves from day one!
