I have been playing cello for about 18 years now. I currently work as a freelance musician, and have performed with various groups in Houston, a few of which include the Scott Joplin Chamber Orchestra, the Woodlands Symphony, and the Houston Ebony Opera Guild.

What to expect in my
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Usually, we will begin with a warm up. Cello : an etude or scales in the key of the music we are working on. Vocal : standard vocal warmups Songwriting : transcribing a short melody After that, we will go into the main lesson which will consist of technique and music to practice. We will usually pick music that will help reinforce the technique we are learning. For songwriting, we will focus on creating music and learning to apply different composition techniques. I will do my best to provide you with all musical material via email. The only thing I would like for you to already have is an instrument, and / or a smart device to help with learning. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, and I will do my best to help you. Thank you, and I look forward to working with you !
