Andrea has always loved music from an early age. She began playing the violin at the age of 8 and continued her education by participating in orchestral groups and playing wherever she went after finishing high school. Her musical influences include Tchaikovsky & Verdi. Andrea's favorite thing about music is that it can be used as a creative outlet for emotion and that there are endless possibilities to making music. Her favorite thing about teaching music is learning what the student is passionate about and helping them grow as musicians. One of her favorite teaching experiences was teaching her younger brother to learn the violin. Even though it was frustrating at first, he continued until he could successfully read music and proudly play a few songs.
