Trey began playing piano and studying voice at the age of 14. Over the years, he developed his skills further by joining choirs and becoming a music major in college. He gained performance experience mostly through musical theatre, performing with Temple Civic Theatre, Waco Civic Theatre, and Vive Les Arts in Killeen. Though Trey can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are musical theatre, opera, and worship music which had great influence on his style of playing. Trey loves music because it is what drives him every day to be a better person and loves teaching music because he wants to show people the amazing power of music that was shown to him at a young age.
