Valerie has loved music from an early age. She began playing horn at the age of 10 and continued her education by attending Virginia Commonwealth University. She has studied with Damien Bollino and Patrick Smith. Valerie is currently playing with the Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra and has performed with the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and the Mid Atlantic Wind Symphony. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
You can expect a teacher who is passionate about the horn and will help you to achieve whatever goals you may have. You can also expect to learn about basic music theory and history.

Valerie has studied with Damien Bollino and Patrick Smith. She has also performed in master classes for Annamia Larsson, David Jolley, Jay Ferree and more.
Performing Experience:
In addition to regularly performing with the Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra, Valerie has performed with a number local ensembles including the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and the Mid Atlantic Wind Symphony. She regularly performed at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church
