Hey guys! My name is Raven, and I teach Flute. I am 20 years old. I love music because it is basically another language. Anyone who makes music essentially builds a relationship with the audience through song. I teach music a lot more open to new things because I am also a student myself. I wish to impact lives through teaching music! I have been playing flute and piccolo for 9 years.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner -
As a student, you should expect to start off with whole tones and scales. After the completion of that, you will advance to learning etudes. As we work through etudes, we will cover style playing, discuss composers and style periods, phrasing, dexterity, timbre, and more. There will be a journal that the student must keep, but it won't be a lot.

I am a Music Education major at Prairie View A&M University.

Performing Experience:
My favorite performance has got to be when I traveled with the Flute ensemble to Womens College in Mississippi. We played The Law of Floating Objects, and that is the first time the composer ever heard it actually performed. It was such a great honor.

I teach flute to students who wish to learn flute at Prairie View.
