I am currently a freshman at WWU, and am currently the bassist and lead singer in a 3 piece rock band called Vice. The band has been together for 2 years, and we've played a few shows/gigs. I find music to be very rewarding/enjoyable in all aspects, including music theory, songwritting, playing with emotion, and playing live. I am most proficient at bass guitar and vocals, but I have a strong knowledge of guitar and piano as well.

Dylan Re has over 4 years of music experience in the Bellingham area.
Dylan Re is proficient in and teaches Bass Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
I was part of the Bothell High School choir for 2 years, and took many music theory classes there. Even though I had taught myself most of what I know before this, taking classes on music taught me the more formal side of it, and refined my abilities.
Private Education:
As I said, I taught myself how to play bass and sing at first, by just watching dozens of youtube video lessons, and by of course, hours and hours and hours of practice. What drove my motivation was simply my desire to get better and better.
Performing Experience:
If I had to guess I would say I have played roughly 10 live gigs, but I'm really not sure. At an earlier point in my life I was gigging every weekend, but now that I'm in college we don't nearly have that sort of of time to practice. I've also recorded 2 EPs at Hive Studios in Seattle.
Experience Teaching:
I have never formally taught anyone how to play music, but I'm constantly giving advice and tips to my friends and they seem to be helpful. I have formally taught other things, as I was a math tutor at my school senior year. I think I am good at taking students at a pace that's good for them, and understanding that learning takes time. I feel being self taught has given me alot of perspective on what learning actually is.
