What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginning students can expect a very basic and beginning learning the bass clef; Students will learn how to accompany with a bass line to other guitars, vocals, jazz combo, or in a band setting. Students can request what styles of music they would like to learn and I can also convert sheet music written for another instrument or write it by ear for the student to learn in absolutely any style/key of music they desire to learn. There is a regiment of styles I can teach students like samba, salsa, merengue, and etc. For example, if they enjoy church worship music we can arrange a bass melody for modern hymns. It they like the Dave Matthews Band or classic rock I can quickly arrange it for bass guitar. If they are into world music we can learn reggae, bossa nova, groove, and other styles. Students will be taught the correct positions, how to hold the instrument, proper care, amp usage, & more.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Begging students can expect to be taught all major and minor scales, proper positions upon the keyboard, chords and 7th chords, common progressions, sight reading, and improvisational skills.
