Hello, my name is Armando and I am a musician from Bakersfield, CA. I have been a student of music for 16 years. My teaching style can best be described as direct instruction, practice, and discussion driven with an emphasis in positive reinforcement. My teaching philosophy can best be described as a learning-focused environment. In my lessons, you can expect to learn about music theory and history, the inter-workings of your instrument, and how to communicate and express yourself effectively and creatively. I like to tell my students that even if at times you find yourself struggling with the introduction to musicianship, it will get easier with time! Always remember that with enough practice, anything is possible. I primarily teach bass and guitar, but I can also teach drums, vocals, violin, cello, viola, ukulele. My aspiration as a teacher is to help my students succeed as musicians and achieve their goals of exploring every corner of the vast universe that is music. Thank you for taking a look at my profile.
