Paul began playing Piano at the age of 5 years old, and Guitar as a young person. Over the years, he developed his skills further by practice, practice, practice! In school, music was always his class in which he found the most enjoyment, and made the most of every musical opportunity his education allowed. He gained performance experience by playing at such venues as Farmer’s Markets, Coffee Shops, Talent Shows, and for friends and family. Though Paul can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are jazz piano, classic rock, pop, and folk which have had great influence on his style of playing. Paul loves music because it is a way to express, and expand the experiences we have in life. He loves teaching music because music brings people together in a fun, creative way. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with music, Paul can help you expand and enhance your playing. Paul is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
For beginners a fun, instrument focused curriculum about essential skills, and learning basic notation! I encourage students to explore their instrument, rather than dogmatic and boring lessons. For intermediate players, a focus on technical improvement and more complex techniques. Students may use their own Piano/ Keyboard, or be provided a practice Piano for lessons.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
For beginners a fun curriculum about essential skills, and learning basic notation! â€I encourage students to explore their instrument rather, rather than focus on dogmatic and boring lessons. For intermediate players, a focus on technical improvement and more complex techniques. Students may request to learn on an Acoustic, and/or Electric Guitar. They may use their own instrument, or be provided an instrument for lessons.
