What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Professional, set-your-own-pace, and FUN lessons. I want my students to have a wonderful time exploring music while allowing me to help them to the best of my ability. I emphasize on proper support and control of voice while also strengthening breath work and relaxation/confidence while performing.
Formal Education:
Pacific Lutheran University; BFA Theatre: Acting/Directing, and a music minor with Vocal Emphasis.
Private Education:
Vocal Study; Upper tenor 1 vocal training-Dr. James Brown 2 Upper Tenor 1 vocal training-Barry Johnson 2 Fitzmaurice Voice work 2-Dr. Lori Lee Wallace
Performing Experience:
Total singing years 2014-Present. Pacific Lutheran U Chorale 2 years.-The Choir of the West-3 years.-Night of Musical Theatre-4 years (various principle and ensemble roles). Seattle Men’s Chorus-2 Various performances both ensemble and principle. Chorale Union (PLU)-2012-Present Premier work, vocal workshop work. Fifth Avenue Theatre; Titanic the Musical; In Concert 2012 Hairspray the Musical; In Concert 2014 The Hunchback of Norte Dome 2018 (Current Working Project). I have been in various musical theatre and operatic productions while also directing, producing and coaching through the years for different large and small organizations.
