Hi, my name is Esther and I am primarily a singer and violinist from Philadelphia. I have been a student of music for 16 years! My musical influences include Regina Spektor, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga. I also enjoy classical singing. In my teaching, I try very hard to make the student feel both comfortable and fulfilling. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will try my very best to have fulfilling lessons where the student goes home inspired. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to use proper technique to get the pop and/or classical style that the student wants. I like to tell my students anything can be accomplished with practice. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing progress and being able to create music with students. My favorite performance was in my high school orchestra when we played with an Irish rock band. My students love that I teach at the students' pace. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
Esther B. has over 5 years of music experience in the Philadelphia area.
Esther B. is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .Degree and Field of Study:
What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
In my violin lessons we will warm up with stretching first, then begin working on scales and fun exercises and etudes. After that we will move onto repertoire which the student and I have picked out together. We will also focus on technique and theory.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Usually we will warm up with a little stretching, breathing, and vocal exercises. This is to get the body ready for singing without any tension or pain. After that, I like to work on repertoire. Technique and Theory skills are included in my lessons so that the student learns how to produce the sound that they want and how the music itself works.
