He gained professional experience performing classical and jazz guitar within SIU's guitar ensemble under the teachings of Dr. Isaac Lausell. Though Ryan teaches many genres of music, his personal favorites include folk and rock and roll. Ryan has experience in writing, recording, and producing his own music as well and can help you learn the fundamentals! Ryan believes music is a very important form of communication that is a universal language. He aims to help students understand the functionality of the music they play while learning the guitar. What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
In my Song Writing lessons, we will learn about chord progressions, song writing elements such as verses, bridges, and choruses, and improving your lyric writing skills.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate
Lessons will cover recording engineering as well as production techniques. Techniques covered include compression, equalization, limiting, and auxiliary routing. Preferred DAWs for lessons are Logic Pro X or Pro Tools.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Every guitar lesson will be tailored to the students specific needs. Teaching will cover repertoire, techniques, chords, and theory. I will help you set your goals early on, so we will make progress in every lesson.
