2003-2004 Bassist, Rust, Baltimore, Md: Classic hard rock and heavy metal cover band; played several shows at area clubs such as the Black Hole, Mac's, and the Shamrock Inn.
2009-2010 Drummer, The Tritons, Baltimore, Md: challenging vintage surf rock drumming; fun shows played out of state and one great show at Baltimore's Creative Alliance.
2009-2010 Drummer/Guitarist, Stars & The Sea, Baltimore, Md: played live, worked on original material, and helped with band management and production with founder/songwriter Shane Gardner. Played live at Baltimore institutions such as The Depot and The Quarter.

All of my experience as a teacher has so far been informal for family members, friends, etc., but my services have been requested in evaluating other teachers and their methods, and in cases where I have suggested changes to certain programs of instruction, a significant improvement has been realized. Learning CAN be fun! Bring me the music you'd like to learn and we'll break it down bit by bit until we've got the whole thing figured out. I'll show you the scales or rudiments used in building the piece, so you can see just how those technical foundations apply--so long, drudgery!
