Hi, my name is Kristoffer and I am a musician and teacher from Orland Park. I have been a student of music for almost 20 years. My musical influences include everything from classical orchestral music, to jazz, to metal, to pop, to rock and everything else in-between! I also enjoy writing when I have the free time. My teaching style can best be described as adverse. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that in my lessons, I teach whatever style the student would enjoy the most! You can expect to learn not only what I think you would excel it, but things that you would have a fun time learning and practicing. I like to tell my students that it is important to find a balance of fun and work with learning an instrument. There will be many struggles along the way, but the fun and reward that comes from the hard work is more than worth it. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the excitement that a student gets when they fluently play or do something that they had a tough time with. My students love that I teach and enjoy me as a teacher even on a personal level as a friend as well. I primarily teach violin, but I can also teach guitar as well as some piano and vocals. My approach as a teacher is to make sure my students are enjoying the lessons but also completely understand that it requires practice, determination and hard work as well to reach great heights.
