Zachary began playing guitar at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further by graduating from McNally Smith with a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance. He gained performance experience by playing at such venues as The Grand Theater Wausau and The Ice House amongst others and with acts such as Of The Orchard and The Hoodoo Revival currently. Though Zachary can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are blues and rock which had great influence on his style of playing. Zachary loves music because it provides a creative outlet and loves teaching music because the world is a better place with more musicians in it. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I follow a curriculum based on building a solid foundation of music theory knowledge and how to utilize that knowledge on your instrument in various genre settings. I am also able to work with students specifically to prepare for college auditions

Studied with Greg Koch, Joe Elliot, Mike Salow, and Dave Isaacs
Performing Experience:
I gig routinely with my main band, Of The Orchard, and also perform in churches around the twin cities and as a guitarist for a few different female singers
Experience Teaching:
I studied pedagogy in college as well as acting as a tutor to other students in the guitar program. I have also been a private instructor and provided lessons to students looking to prepare for college entry auditions
